Returns & Exchanges

We'll accept a return for a refund or exchange if:

• you email us within 14 days of delivery
• the item is unused, unwashed and free of dog hair, with tags attached and in its original packaging
• the item is in a condition we can resell

Trying a harness on your dog indoors to check the fit is fine. Once a product has been worn on a walk, washed, chewed or used outside, we can't accept it for change of mind, because for hygiene reasons we can't resell used pet products.

To get the right fit first time, measure your dog with our dog harness and collar size guide. If your dog is between sizes, size up. Still unsure? Email us your dog's measurements and breed and we'll help.

If you return part of a bundle, your refund is the price you paid for that item after the bundle discount. If the items you keep no longer meet the bundle conditions, their discount is recalculated and the difference comes off your refund. If you return a full set, please send the free gift back too, or its retail value (between $10 and $15, depending on the gift) will be deducted from your refund.

You pay return postage for change-of-mind returns and size exchanges. We recommend a tracked service, as we can't be responsible for returns lost on the way back to us. Express shipping fees from the original order aren't refundable. For exchanges, we'll ship your new size free within Australia.

1. Email hello@companionclub.com.au within 14 days of delivery with your order number, the item(s), and whether you'd like a refund or an exchange (and which size).
2. We'll reply within 1–2 business days with approval and return instructions. Please don't send items back without approval.
3. Pack the item securely in its original packaging, put your order number inside, and send it with Australia Post to our returns address below. Keep your receipt and tracking number.
4. Once it arrives, we'll inspect it and email you the outcome.

Returns must be sent with Australia Post. Our returns address is an Australia Post Parcel Locker, which can't accept parcels from other couriers. Please copy the address exactly:

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 business days of us receiving your return. Your bank may take a few more days to show it. Exchanges ship as soon as your return is approved, subject to stock. If your new size is sold out, you can choose a refund or store credit.

International customers can return within the same 14 days. You pay return postage, and original shipping, duties and taxes aren't refundable.

If something arrives faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, the 14-day limit and postage rules above don't apply. Email us with your order number and clear photos as soon as you notice the problem. Once we've confirmed it, we'll arrange a repair, replacement or refund and cover reasonable return postage. See Warranty & Care for what counts as a fault.

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You're entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You're also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits those rights, including on sale and bundle items.
